Through stage and screen I was fortunate to express my creative side through acting and music receiving accolades and credits for small walk-on rolls and concert appearances in Florida and New York. Today, I am fortunate to remain very active within the film, TV and music industry in Oklahoma as it continues remarkable growth. These are exciting times for the arts in this State and I am looking forward to seeing Oklahoma develop as a major player within this amazing industry!"
Michael founded OA, Oklahoma Actors, in June of 2019 as a way to bring other actors together. Since its founding, OA has become one of the largest and most active private social media groups for filmmakers in Oklahoma. As an advocate for the growing industry, he has worked with government leaders and offices to help ensure the positive direction of the film, TV, and music business in Oklahoma.
Michael is currently in production on a new western series, "Redemption of the West", in which he portrays Bartholomeu Cuminsky, leader of a band of outlaws in the late 1800s. He also has several voice-over animation productions ongoing, as well as continued efforts on special projects in Oklahoma. Michael is preparing to publish his epi
Michael is currently in production on a new western series, "Redemption of the West", in which he portrays Bartholomeu Cuminsky, leader of a band of outlaws in the late 1800s. He also has several voice-over animation productions ongoing, as well as continued efforts on special projects in Oklahoma. Michael is preparing to publish his epic novel, "Kala - Rites of Passage", while continuing work on the screenplay adaptation. In his private recording studio, Michael works on original film scores for various projects.
In the 1970s, the Sweet Comfort Band was born from the 'Jesus Music' revolution. They went on to seven albums and influence the world of Christian music. In the 1970s, the Sweet Comfort Band was born from the 'Jesus Music' revolution. They went on to seven albums and influence the world of Christian music. Members of the band went on to release solo albums and join other bands in the genre. Bryan Duncan, lead singer of SCB, released 18 solo albums and took part in many compilation projects. Michael helped produce one of Bryan's project due to his appreciation of the influence Bryan's career and the impact of SCB in the Contemporary genre. Michael's extensive history in CCM and his time in Christian radio through his father, Wayne Nauman, gave him production, broadcasting and performance experience in the early era of Contemporary Christian Music as he worked with several artists in the 80's and 90's, also opening for several artists and performing with bands. He shares his thoughts on Sweet Comfort Band's rise and the careers of it's members over the years in this long over-do documentary where he shares his insights.

As a working actor, musician, producer, inventor, content creator, and a entertainment industry community leader, Michael always ensured there was time from his busy schedule to devote to his lifelong pursuit of crafting a very unique adventure. With the help of long time friend and editor Tanis Glenn, Michael completed the work. Decades in the making and soon you will be invited to immerse yourself in his epic adventure.
Redemption of the West, a television series set in the late 1800s, has wrapped principal photography and is currently in post-production. Slated to enter the Sundance Film Festival in 2026.
Virst Visit, a short written and produced by Attila Gyula Balazs, starring Kyle Pennington, Madgiel Rios and Michael A. Nauman, will be featured at the Great Plains Film Festival and has been nominated for awards. Based on a true story, this short is very gripping and is a 'must see' for the festival. Michael Nauman, who portrayed the police chief, also scored the music for the project.
